In The Flash's midseason premiere, Iris West-Allen was trapped in the mirrorverse and later replaced by a duplicate taking orders from Eva McCulloch. Recently, she was joined by a mirror duplicate of Cisco Ramon's girlfriend and Team Flash newcomer Kamilla Hwang, with the rest of the team still being none the wiser.
Unfortunately for Mirror-Iris, Iris' brother Wally warned their father Joe something was up with his sister, and Joe has his suspicions regarding his daughter's behavior. In response to a question from a fan on TVLine, Showrunner Eric Wallace has confirmed that Iris' husband Barry will eventually find out about this deception, and there will be consequences to this revelation.
Wallace said, "Yes — and the audience won't have to wait until the end of the season for this to happen. However, there will be tragic consequences to learning the truth about Mirror-Iris." He added that there will be consequences to this, "Consequences that will send the season in a new, even more dangerous direction for Team Flash."
Airing Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/CT on The CW, The Flash stars Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, Carlos Valdes, Danielle Panabaker, Tom Cavanagh, Jesse L. Martin, Danielle Nicolet and Hartley Sawyer. Season 6 is scheduled to resume on April 7.
