The Flash's New Suit is a Living Hell (Literally) | Screen Rant - Screen Rant

Warning! Spoilers for The Flash #752

Barry Allen's adventures have led him to a place where things aren't exactly what they appear to be. In order to escape the mirage created by the villainous Paradox, the Flash gets creative and constructs a new suit that's built from the living hell he's stuck in.

The Flash #751 ended with a bang, as Paradox, a new villain capable of harnessing crisis energy, seemingly absorbed the Flash and killed him. It was revealed Barry was transported to a different plane of existence where his mother was still alive. But, the reunion is cut short after Barry starts to realize the world he's in isn't heaven, it's hell.

In The Flash #752 by Joshua Williamson, Howard Porter, Hi-Fi and Steve Wands, despite the initial joy of seeing Flash City, a place where everything he could ever want is there, Barry quickly realizes it's all Paradox's creation to keep him from returning. The Flash uses vibrations to destroy the mirage around him revealing that he's in a dimension where Paradox left his victims to die. The energy starts to physically drain Barry, but thankfully, he realizes that Paradox's armor might be related to blocking the exposure. Thinking quickly, Barry starts to form his own armor from abandoned tech. He saves himself by creating a bulkier, makeshift suit capable of blocking out the dangerous energy that's affecting the dimension.

In order to get out of the dimension, Barry's got to travel back in time to the scene of his mother's death. However, his mission isn't to save his mom from being killed at the hands of Eobard Thawne aka the Reverse-Flash. Instead, he's there to find Thawne and ask for his help in taking out Paradox. Barry knows from Commander Cold that the Reverse-Flash took down Paradox in the future. So, in this case, Barry is choosing the lesser of two very big evils to save himself and Central City from the reign of Paradox.

The new suit will help Barry from getting overexposed from the crisis energy and killed like the many others who Paradox stuck on the dimension. While the look probably won't stay around much longer, the suit is a testament to the Flash's smarts and quick-thinking. Without building the suit he would have died soon after arriving. Now, Barry has got a plan to take down Paradox - even if that means teaming up with his greatest enemy.
