The Flash: 5 Best Friendships (&5 Worst) | ScreenRant - Screen Rant

The hit CW show The Flash has captured audiences and brought in characters from DC comics as well as adapting some specifically for the show. Flash's crew or Team Flash is made up of fellow heroes, family, and friends that all share a tight bond that is hard to break. The show is built on friendships, diversity, and relationships that make it seems like every ally is a friend for life.

Unfortunately, not every relationship is built to last and some characters have a harder time getting along than others. Here are the five best friendships in The Flash and the five worst.

10 BEST: Barry & Cisco

The Flash Earth-2 Cisco Barry Selfie

Bromance at it's finest. Barry and Cisco have been inseparable since season 1, and although they've had their arguments and differences, their friendship is still going strong after six seasons. They both share a love for science, comics, and tv shows, and are constantly laughing and having a good time.

Cisco was even the best man at Barry's wedding, and Barry was there for Cisco when he first got his powers and was afraid to use them. Overall the two make a great dynamic that we all wish we had.

9 WORST: Caitlin & Iris

Barry is a likable and very friendly guy, even before he got his powers he was always willing to help and give people a chance. Iris although is a genuinely good person but has a hard time making friends and has found herself in many damaged relationships. One is the relationship she has with the resident doctor Caitlin Snow.

Although Caitlin was the maid of honor at Iris and Barry's wedding, the two have never really had a close relationship and are almost complete opposites. Caitlin is timid, passive where Iris is more assertive and tends to rub people the wrong way. We hope the two can strengthen their relationship in the near future for Team Flash's sake.

8 BEST: Caitlin & Cisco

When it comes to close friendships, nothing beats out the dynamic these two have...sorry Barry. Caitlin and Cisco have had a strong bond that outmatches pretty much any friendship on this list simply because of how much respect they have for each other.

Cisco has always stuck his neck out for Caitlin, even when she became the unstable Killer Frost and Caitlin has always been a good friend, listener, and shoulder to cry on for Cisco. Even in alternate universes, the two can't seem to be torn apart.

7 WORST: Iris & Felicity

Like we said before, Iris is a hard girl to be friends with. Like Caitlin, Felicity was a part of Iris wedding but besides that, the two have never really been close. They did meet through Barry and Felicity has willingly helped Team Flash when she's not busy with Team Arrow so it's a bit of a wonder why they aren't close, especially since she's pretty much the female version of Barry.

Iris even makes a snarky remark directed at Felicity when she decides to impulsively marry Oliver on the same day and at the same time as Iris and Barry.

6 BEST: Barry & Felicity

When these two first met, they had a little bit more than friendship in their minds. The two quirky and adorably dorky Barry and Felicity first met when Barry (Pre-Flash) went to Star City to help Oliver and Co solve a string of robberies. After that, the two bonded over loving someone that couldn't love them back and even shared a kiss.

Barry and Felicity continue to be close friends, proving they could overcome their awkward almost romance. When Barry messed up the timeline, the first person he looked to for help was Felicity and when Barry had his 9-month coma following the lightning strike, Felicity was one of the first to call to see if he was all right.

5 WORST: Ralph & Cisco

The Flash Season 4 True Colors Ralph Cisco

Ralph's introduction to the team was..a little rocky to say the least. From his complicated past with Barry to his constant joking and overall immaturity lead to him butting heads with everyone, including Cisco. Luckily Ralph learned to work with others and eventually became a part of the team, repairing his relationship with pretty much everyone, except for Cisco.

Now currently in season 6, Ralph has matured and really stepped up as a hero so it's safe to say that his relationship with Cisco is improving but it might never be more than just the colleague/coworker stage.

4 BEST: Barry & Oliver

As the one who started it all, Oliver has a relationship with almost every hero in the Arrowverse but none compare to one he has with Barry. Although the two don't always see eye to eye and are complete opposites of each other, Barry looks up to and respects Oliver and Oliver admires Barry's optimism and his ability to see the good in others.

They've always had each other's backs and although Oliver is gone, Barry still misses his friend and mentor and it's very obvious he wants him back.

3 WORST: Harrison Wells  & Joe West

One of the long-running jokes of the show that every season has a Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanaugh) from a parallel earth. Each Wells is different than the other and each one has something they've contributed to the team. Everyone has had a Wells they've liked or gotten along with, all except Joe West.

Joe is a father figure to the young members of Team Flash and usually gets along with any new addition to the team, but it seems he's had an issue with every single one. He's punched, shot at, and even thrown a Wells in jail. It's safe to say Joe is tired of seeing a new Wells every season.

2 BEST: Ralph & Killer Frost

This one is the most surprising of the two due to them being completely different people. But believe it or not, thee two have built a great friendship and constantly rely on each other for many different things.

Ralph relies on Frost when he feels alone or isolated from the team and Frost goes to him when she needs life advice or someone who's got her back. Whether it be solving her father's murder or giving her love advice, Ralph truly cares for Killer Frost.

1 WORST: Barry & Kamilla & Chester

Over the years, Barry has been a mentor to the heroes of Central City including Kid Flash, Jesse Quick, Elongated Man, and many others. He's always been a patient and easy-going teacher, giving everyone the benefit of a doubt and looking for the best in them. After six-plus years of his prodigies dying or leaving him, Barry is cautious and not as accepting.

For Kamilla and Chester, that, unfortunately, means a less than enthusiastic welcome to Team Flash. Barry is so tired of change and just wants one constant and with an inexperienced Kamila and Chester almost getting him killed, it was a rocky start for them.

Hopefully, as season 6 wraps up we can see the relationship improves.
