Stargirl might be DC's latest superhero to hit the small screen, but the upcoming series – which will air on the Arrowverse's home, The CW – will still feature some familiar faces from the past.
Created for DC's subscription service DC Universe, Stargirl is set to follow Brec Bassinger's Courtney Whitmore (Stargirl) on a reborn Earth-2 as she discovers her stepfather Pat Dugan's superhero past.
The series will also feature the Justice Society of America (JSA), as well as their enemies, the inventively-titled Injustice Society – which is how previous incarnations of Green Lantern and the Flash come in.

Stargirl co-creator and executive producer Geoff Johns spoke to IGN about potential cameos, revealing that Green Lantern and Flash "are spoken of and exist in the Justice Society of America" that we'll see in the Stargirl series.
"There's a picture of them in the first episode, and there's plans in the future for things," he added, before cautioning that the Jay Garrick and Alan Scott identities set to appear will be "elderly statesmen".
"They're the big heroes of the JSA and their shadow is very long and they're great characters," Johns explained. "They are a part of the original JSA and their legacies will be felt throughout the show. I don't want to spoil too much about it, but I can leave it at that."
Stargirl, which also stars Luke Wilson as Pat Dugan/Stripesy, will premiere on DC Universe this May, before hitting The CW in the US a week later.
