The Flash star John Wesley Shipp may have teased his return to the Grant Gustin series.
The events of Crisis on Infinite dramatically altered the Arrowverese in ways that have yet to be fully revealed. One of the mysteries that are currently unresolved is how the Crisis impacted Earth-3, the homeworld of John Wesley Shipp’s Jay Garrick.
However, John Wesley Shipp shared two photos on his official Twitter account that have fans wondering if he’s teasing his return to Grant Gustin’s The Flash. The post featured a photo of The Flash #750 and included a caption reading, “apropos of several messages I’ve received today.” While John Wesley Shipp could simply be celebrating 80 years of The Flash, the fact that he included a close-up image on the “to be continued in The Flash in 2020″ line from the comic has some suspecting he’s hinting at a return to the Grant Gustin series.
