DCEU’s Flash Star Ezra Miller Previews DC FanDome With Meme Video - Screen Rant

The Flash star Ezra Miller hypes up his DC FanDome appearance with a cute meme video. Miller first joined the DCEU back in 2016, when his Barry Allen appeared in two brief cameos in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad. It wasn't until 2017's Justice League that he really got to step into the role, but despite initial plans for a solo film centered on the Flash, it's taken a long time for Miller's next DCEU appearance to actually arrive. The Flash has been delayed multiple times and undergone a few director switches, but things finally seem to be on track for the film to debut in 2022.

Fans are expecting some new updates to arrive with DC FanDome. The first-ever DC-centric virtual convention is set for August and promises to include some major reveals related to upcoming projects across film, television, comics, and more. The official DC FanDome guest list boasts over 300 names, including prominent celebrities like Gal Gadot, Robert Pattinson, and Dwayne Johnson. Miller was among those confirmed to appear, along with The Flash director Andy Muschetti.

Over on social media, DC shared a fun video hyping up Miller's appearance at DC FanDome. It starts off with Miller holding a cat and pointing at a message calling for fans to "suit up." The marketing for DC FanDome has so far emphasized how this is an event for the fans, and this video further shows how everyone is welcome to tune in later this month. Anticipation for DC FanDome is already quite high, as it promises to contain some really exciting news. When it comes to The Flash, fans are likely hoping for some new casting information, as right now Miller is the only person confirmed to appear. News broke earlier this summer that Michael Keaton is in talks to reprise his role as Batman for The Flash, and a confirmation of his appearance could come at DC FanDome.

At this point, though, any kind of information regarding The Flash would be welcome. Fans have waited years to see Miller star in his own solo movie, and the added fact that The Flash is expected to adapt the famous Flashpoint storyline from the comics likely only adds to the excitement.
