The Flash Movie Panel At DC FanDome: Time & How To Watch - Screen Rant

Find out where, how, and when to watch The Flash Movie panel at DC FanDome, featuring star Ezra Miller and filmmakers Andy and Barbara Muschietti. Miller's solo movie has been in the works for years, stretching back to his first appearance as The Flash in a cameo during Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. At one point, Miller and Grant Morrison wrote a treatment for the movie in an attempt to get it off the ground, but DC didn't accept it, and screenwriter Christina Hodson took over.

Hodson's script will reportedly be a loose adaptation of the Flashpoint story from the comics, potentially featuring Michael Keaton as an aging Bruce Wayne/Batman. Andy Muschietti, who previously helmed both It: Chapter 1 and It: Chapter 2, is on board to direct, with his sister Barbara producing. With a release date in 2022, the movie is still in pre-production, and little information about the film has officially been released. But that could change soon.

The recently released schedule for DC FanDome reveals when and where fans will be able to find out more about The Flash. The panel will happen on Saturday, August 22, at 2:45 pm ET. It will last just 10 minutes and be available to stream on the DC FanDome site, which you can find by following the link above. All you need to do is go to the website, sign up and add "The Flash Movie Panel" to your schedule, and you'll be able to watch it when it is streamed live.

Ezra Miller as Barry Allen Flash and Michael Keaton as Batman

Given that the panel is going to be so short, it's unlikely to reveal a considerable amount of information. The description on the FanDome site says that it will be a "101-style conversation" with Miller, the Muschiettis, and Hodson all appearing. That leads one to believe that what will be revealed will cover the basics. Expect news of whether the release date will shift due to coronavirus, as well as a possible reveal of the basic narrative, hopefully confirming the Flashpoint storyline once and for all.

There is also the potential for the panel to reveal which other characters will join Miller's Flash in the movie. That means there might be some huge news in the form of the confirmation of Keaton's involvement. While previous reports have suggested that Keaton's appearance in The Flash is a done deal, nothing has been confirmed by the star, filmmakers or studio. If Keaton's role is confirmed, he could even make a surprise appearance.

The prospect of any footage from the film being released is slim to none, considering how early in the process the movie is, but there is always the chance that the filmmakers may reveal Flash's suit for the film if they decide to move away from the version worn by Miller so far. So, despite the short length of the panel, there is potential for some truly important information about The Flash to be revealed next weekend.
