Potential for flash flooding in Tulsa area starts Tuesday night - KRMG

The National Weather Service is expecting potentially severe weather to hit Green Country starting Tuesday night.

Rainfall amounts are projected between two and four inches for much of the Tulsa area, with severe storms capable of producing quarter-sized hail and gusty winds possible.

With that amount of rain forecasted, the National Weather Service says that flash flooding is the primary concern for this round of storms.

The inclement weather is expected to stick around until Thursday afternoon.
