Warning: contains spoilers for The Flash #775!
Wally West, the Flash, may be the self-proclaimed Fastest Man Alive, but he's officially stronger than Superman in one other important area. The Flash and Superman frequently race in DC Comics, and while Superman is incredibly fast, the Flash is arguably much faster. But in The Flash #775, written by Jeremy Adams with art by Fernando Pasarin and Matt Ryan and colors by Jeromy Cox, Wally proves himself before the world - and before Superman.
At the start of the issue, Superman, the Flash and Mr. Terrific come across a mysterious purple glaive embedded in a busy city intersection. Superman tries to pull the glaive out of the street, but even after using all his strength, he can't budge it one inch. Mr. Terrific reasons the weapon might be magical in origin (which is why Superman can't lift it), but Superman angrily responds "I told you, I WILL GET IT!" This is a highly uncharacteristic outburst from Clark, and the Flash notices...then he notices everyone else acting with anger: Mr. Terrific, his wife, everyone at Star Labs, and eventually the entire city. Wally West appears to be the only one unaffected by the weapon.
It isn't too long before a massive group of supervillains (including King Shark, Prometheus, Major Force, Gorilla Grodd and others) rush to claim the glaive for themselves. Flash manages to hold them at bay before placing a temporary shield around the glaive, causing everyone to return to normal (until the shield fails). When the villain Starbreaker claims the glaive for himself - and is subsequently defeated by Flash - he wonders why the glaive hasn't affected him. "I guess I don't go in for that anger thing. That guy lives in Gotham. I'm more of a 'be content in all things' kind of dude these days."
The Flash has always been faster than Superman - but now DC has all but confirmed he has a stronger will as well. For all the terrible things that has happened to Wally West, he still doesn't give into hatred, rage or anger. The fact that Superman - possibly the purest example of an all-good hero in comics - actually does succumb to the glaive's effects proves that Clark Kent isn't nearly as incorruptible as he initially appears to be.
Notably, the book mentions nothing about Wally's Speed Force-based powers as the reason behind his immunity, so it does indeed boil down to his attitude toward life and living. Wally West has always been a devil-may-care character, but his recklessness doesn't translate into anger. Superman can certainly lift heavier objects and fight cosmic villains, but the Flash has the power to withstand them in his own mind.
