The Justice League boasts some of the most powerful heroes in all of fiction, with some even capable of surviving the end of the world itself. But there's one member of the team who, if he was pushed to do so, could destroy every single one of his teammates: The Flash.
In the wrong hands, Flash's powers are incredibly dangerous, as his super-speed and connection to the Speed Force open up a variety of other skills for him to utilize. The Flash can also vibrate his molecules through solid matter -- and people if so inclined. He can use his speed to attack with enough ferocity and power that his punches can come with the same kind of power as ones thrown by Superman. Going at top-speeds, he could deliver a thousand blows to his opponent before they even realized they were being attacked, meaning he can whittle down major defenses with relative ease.
But Flash's most potent skill is breaking through the constraints of time and space, allowing him to move through the past and even alter it. One of Flash's most famous storylines is a testament to this ability. The murderous Eobard Thawne/Reverse-Flash has repeatedly used time travel, but one perfidious instance saw him murdering Barry Allen's mother when he was just a child. When Barry himself tried to fix things and bring his mother back to life, the action led to Flashpoint, which resulted in numerous changes to the core DC Universe. But despite all the damages, it's important to remember that his plan to save his mother technically worked. She was alive again in the changed world, indicating that altering the past like this is completely within the Flash's power -- and he could target others with a similar strategy.
If the Flash were to ever turn against the world, he could easily defeat the Justice League without any of them ever even realizing what he's doing. By moving through the past and finding the heroes at their most vulnerable, Flash could easily remove them from the timestream as a potential threat. He could kill baby Kal-El before he's found by the Kents, ensure that Bruce Wayne died the same night as parents or even prevent Wonder Woman and Aquaman from ever being born. He could stop the various Green Lanterns from ever reaching their Power Rings, similar to the same kind of universe shaking changes that Doctor Manhattan utilized during the events of Doomsday Clock, preventing entire heroic legacies by changing the past in specific ways.
Flash has quietly always been capable of changing entire realities -- which is why it's so important that the Flash is aware of the responsibility that must come with his powers. Best case scenario, he ruins entire lives by changing the past as Thawne does. The worst-case scenario is the creation of entire other realities and their possible destruction.
In essence, Flash could be a reality-warper if he wanted to -- and luckily for everyone else in the DC Universe, he doesn't want to be.
