Which Flash Villain Are You, Based On Your Zodiac? | CBR - CBR - Comic Book Resources

When most people are discussing the best supervillains in comics, they often bring up the likes of Batman and Spider-Man, but it's not often that The Flash gets the recognition he deserves. The villains who loot Central and Keystone City(s) are one of the most diverse casts of characters in the world of comics.

For example, The Rogues are unique in the way that they are one of the only supervillain teams that have a moral code and manage to stick together. Whether it's Jay, Barry, Wally, or Bart, each Flash villain has a unique personality that allows them to add something special to whatever comic they are appearing in.

12 Aries-Heat Wave

As a child, Mick Rory became obsessed with fire. He began showing the signs of a pyromaniac and eventually burned down his house with his family trapped inside. He didn't want to hurt them, but the beauty of the flames caused him to just stand and watch while his family cried for help. As an adult, he became one of The Rogues, teaming up to rob banks and stop The Flash.

Heat Wave is extremely bold with a quick temper, both traits that Aries shares. Aries is also one of the fire signs, which makes sense for Heat Wave to be a part of.

11 Taurus-Captain Cold

One of The Flash's first and most iconic villains, Cold first appeared in the pages of Showcase #8. Raised in an abusive home, Leonard Snart only felt comfortable when he was with his grandfather at his ice factory. He eventually ran away from home and began a life of crime, eventually coming across a gun that was able to reach temperatures of absolute zero. Compared to other supervillains,

Cold is much more grounded, sticking by what he thinks is the right thing to do and always putting the safety of him and his team first, which makes him a Taurus.

10 Gemini-Zoom

Gemini is typically seen as adaptable, intelligent, and have the ability to learn extremely quickly.  As a police officer, Hunter worked closely with The Flash until he was paralyzed by an attack from Grodd. When Wally refused to go back in time and undo this, Hunter visited The Flash museum and tried to use the cosmic treadmill. It blew up in his face.

When Hunter awoke in the hospital, he found out the entire world was moving slowly around him. Hunter's ability to manipulate time gives the effects of being a speedster, and he is determined to make Wally feel the tragedy in order to make him a better hero.

9 Cancer-Pied Piper

Like many comic book characters, Pied Piper has tiptoed around the line of good and evil. Originally a Barry Allen villain, Hartley Rathaway used his flute and the power of sound to commit crimes and hypnotize people. He then reformed and became a close friend and ally of Wally West, and was also one of DC's first openly gay characters.

Hartley's creativity allowed him to overcome his deafness and use music and sound to his advantage, which makes him a Cancer. Another Cancer trait is being persuasive, which fits in well with his powers of hypnotism.

8 Leo-Abra Kadabra

Citizen Abra is a wannabe magician who hails from the 64th century. Unfortunately for him, any tricks and acts using magic can actually be done using the scientific advancements humanity has made by the time he's around. So he travels back in time to Central City to use the technology to commit crimes under his stage name, Abra Kadabra.

Kadabra is one of the most powerful Flash villains, but his ego often gets in the way of his plans. Leos are typically seen as dramatic and often use their traits to promote personal theatrics to win over the recognition and respect from their peers, and that sounds exactly like Abra Kadabra.

7 Virgo-Captain Boomerang

Captain Boomerang Suicide Squad

The original Captain Boomerang was Digger Harkness, an Australian who moved to Central City to promote the toy boomerangs of his father. Jealous of the publicity The Flash received, he became a crook, using weaponized boomerangs to rob banks and commit other crimes. While he is a Rogue, he is often seen now as a member of the Suicide Squad.

Virgos can mostly be extremely sarcastic, intense, and self -indulgent. This is apparent whether Boomerang is mouthing off to the other Rogues or Amanda Waller, despite the latter having control over a bomb in his brain.

6 Libra-Trickster

When the original Trickster, James Jesse, became an FBI agent, Axel Walker stole his gadgets and took on the Trickster name for himself. While the rest of the Rogues are often annoyed with him for not being as serious during their heists, Axel has proved himself as a Rogue and outshone his predecessor.

Libras are extremely social and clever, which is clear whenever Axel opens his mouth. However, they also have a fear of being alone, which could explain why he is so determined to earn the respect of the Rogues, as he wants a family.

5 Scorpio-Reverse Flash

Literally the opposite of The Flash, Professor Zoom is the perfect archenemy to Barry Allen. A resident of the 25th Century, Eobard Thawne was obsessed with the life of The Flash. He idolized him and even managed to replicate the accident that gave Barry his powers. When he finally met his idol, he realized he was not as perfect as he'd imagined, and even worse, Thawne was destined to become Barry's greatest enemy.

One of the negative traits of Scorpio is jealousy, which Thawne proved when he dedicated his life to becoming The Flash and ruining Barry Allen's life. Another is violence, which Reverse Flash is one of the most violent DC villains, even going back in time and murdering Barry's mother.

4 Sagittarius-Weather Wizard

When Mark Mardon escaped from prison, he attempted to hide in the observatory of his scientist brother, Clyde. When Clyde confessed he was going to have to report him back to the police, Mark stole the prototype Weather Wand and murdered his brother.

Sagittarius is sophisticated, and Mardon is probably the most well-read of the Rogues, often quoting Mark Twain and discussing his favorite novels. They can also have a God complex, which Mardon is even quoted as saying "Guns? Man-made your ammunition. God made mine"

3 Capricorn-The Top

The Top was originally just a goofy villain who could spin fast. However, his powers got a major upgrade, where it was revealed his spinning was achieved through telekinetic powers, which allowed Roscoe to cheat death, take control of other people, and even was revealed to be the cause of The Trickster and Pied Piper's decision to go straight. He was seen as such a threat, the Justice League used Zatanna to lobotomize him, an infamous decision applied to Doctor Light as well in the events of Identity Crisis.

Top's abilities to control the decisions of others and literally flip the switch in someone's brain led to him having an inflated ego. Captain Cold once criticized Top, saying that he often talked down to the other Rogues and believed he was much smarter than he actually was. Being a condescending know-it-all is actually one of the negative aspects that Capricorns share.

2 Aquarius-The Thinker

The Thinker has stood the test of time and proved a worthy foe to anyone who takes on The Flash mantle. Clifford DeVoe has returned again and again using the "Thinking Cap, a machine he created giving him telepathic powers. DeVoe eventually cheated death by having is consciousness turned into AI, and has been a thorn in The Flash's side ever since.

Aquarius traits consist of being progressive, temperamental, and running from emotional expression, so it makes sense that the villain who is barely human anymore would fit into this category.

1 Pisces-Mirror Master

Flash Villains Ranked: The 10 Most Powerful Villains Wally & Barry Have Ever Faced

Evan McCulloch was abandoned as a child, and killed his first person at a very young age. As he wasn't good at much else, he became a mercenary, unknowingly murdering his dad, then was hired by the FBI to attack Animal Man, before he finally became a Rogue.

One of the negative qualities of a Pisces is the desire to escape reality, and Evan is a major culprit of this trait. Despite Captain Cold's strict rules against drugs, Evan developed an addiction, often using cocaine as a way to "visit Wonderland", the place he goes when he is high and doesn't have to worry about the real world.
