For almost as long as Superman and Batman, The Flash has been in comics and has inspired us with his never-ending optimism and his unique powerset. Unlike heroes like Supes and Wonder Woman, there have been several people to take the mantle of The Flash, each in a different time set.
Out of all the Flashes, the most popular version of the hero is Barry Allen. For years all of Flash mythos have included Barry being the one to create the speed force and the one being responsible for giving the other speedsters their powers and guidance in one way or another. With all these characters with different powers and skills, let's look at how they compare to their Zodiac sign.
12 Jay Garrick/Flash 1 - Aries
Jay Garrick was the first Flash and the one who started it all. Although he was later retconned to be the Flash of Earth-2, he is still a fan favorite and very valued member of the Flash Family.
He's the most experienced and he uses his experience to act as a mentor to the younger speedsters including Barry and Wally. He's a reliable person, always ready to teach and help others and always staying calm in any situation, like a true Aries.
11 Jesse Chambers/Jesse Quick - Cancer
Jesse Chambers is arguably one of the most misunderstood speedsters on this list because she has had a lot of changes in her publication history. She is the daughter of two superheroes and at first, she doesn't rely on the speed force to run at super-speed but it is later revealed she does.
She doesn't have the greatest history with some of the Flashes including Wally, who manipulated her on several occasions and Bart, who never took her seriously. She is very observant and intuitive, not only make her an adept speedster but also a Cancer.
10 Wally West/Kid-Flash - Libra
Wally West was Barry's sidekick for years before Barry's apparent death and became the third Flash to take over his mentor. To many younger fans that read comics in the 90s and early 2000s, Wally may be the Flash they recognize as he is completely different than Barry.
Wally is a lot more carefree and less cautious, he takes the hero role with much more pride and brings younger energy to the role. As a Libra, he can be very hard on himself and he often gives people too many chances in an order to avoid confrontation and he learns from his mistakes.
9 Don & Dawn Allen/Tornado Twins - Gemini
The children of Barry Allen and Iris West, the twins inherited their powers from their father and became heroes despite the hatred for metahumans in their time. Don Allen is the father of Bart Allen (Impulse) and Dawn is the mother of Jenni Ognats (XS), who they raised to be heroes just like their father.
The two take great pride in their lineage and each have had adventures as adults with their father. One thing about them is that they are very adept speedsters, being able to quickly adapt to any situation and maintain cool heads despite the world crashing down around them. Despite their different personalities, the two are always in sync, making them Geminis.
8 Wallace West/Kid-Flash 2 - Sagittarius
Wallace West, not to be confused with his red-haired cousin of the same name, is the new 52 version of Kid-Flash and one of Iris' nephews. Unlike the original Wally, Wallace was a bit of a rebel before he got his powers, constantly defying authority, and showing no respect for Barry.
It took a while for him to ease up on his rebellious nature and it wasn't until he saw the Flash in action that he really started admiring him. With his hot-headedness and overconfidence, Wallace is a true Sagittarius.
7 Jenni Ognats/XS - Virgo
One of the greatest things about The Flash and his mythos is how much they depend on Science fiction. One of the biggest things The Flash deals with is time travel, which is how he is able to meet and mentor his much younger granddaughter from the future.
She isn't really mentioned in the comics and a version of her made an appearance in season 5 of The Flash, but there is still a lot we don't know about the character. What we do know is that it takes her some time to come out of her shell and once she does, she becomes a respectable hero and a speedster well worth of the family name. Jenni is a true Virgo.
6 Max Mercury - Capricorn
Max Mercury may have been born hundreds of years before Barry Allen, but he has him to thank for being able to access the Speed Force. Max Mercury wasn't always a true speedster, gaining his powers from a Blackfoot Shaman to protect the natives from the soldiers who were going to clear out the tribe.
As he learns to control his powers, he travels in time to help Jay Garrick, Wally West, and even acts as a mentor for Bart Allen. He may not really be in a lot of comics anymore but his high responsibility and his vast knowledge of his powers make him a true Capricorn.
5 Avery Ho/Flash Of China - Pisces
Avery Ho is one of the newest speedsters on this list as she just got her powers in the current Flash comic run. When the speed force storm hit Central City, Avery was one of the hundreds to gain powers. Although she had trouble with her powers at first, she quickly learned to control them and she then dedicated her life to saving people in her home in China.
Avery is one of the most diverse members of the Flash family, she is also one of the most selfless and confident in her powers. Despite being a teenager, she quickly took on the role of savior and accepted she needed help instead of trying to figure it out on her own. She was the sole survivor of Godspeed's attacks and she was one of the only new speedsters that didn't take her powers for granted, she is a total Pisces.
4 Bart Allen/Impulse - Leo
Bart Allen has always had one goal, to meet his legendary grandfather, Barry Allen. He would stop at nothing to fight crime with him and even did some reckless things to be able to travel back in time to see him.
Once he got to the 21st century, he quickly became a nuisance as he got overconfident and very arrogant with his skills. He was very unlike Barry and Wally where he enjoyed the spotlight and all the perks that came with being a hero, much like a Leo.
3 Godspeed - Scorpio
August Hart was Barry's partner in the CCPD and was a loyal friend before he got struck with lightning from the same storm that gave Avery powers. Although he had good intentions at first and was set to become the best of the new speedsters, it all changed when his brother was killed and Barry refused to kill the man who did.
He took it personally and took matters into his own hands, killing speedsters and siphoning their powers. He was very outspoken and in his mind, only his way worked. As a Scorpio, he was basically a more violent Barry.
2 Iris West-Allen - Aquarius
She may not be a speedster, but she is responsible for about half the Flash family. Either acting as a parental figure or literally giving birth to them, she is one of the most respected figures in the Flash family.
As a journalist, she is highly independent and very temperamental, although her patience and big heart have made her someone any of the younger members can go to for advice.
1 Barry Allen/Flash 2 - Taurus
Last we have the head of the Flash family and arguably the greatest speedster on this list. Barry had a very tough life growing up but he refused to let it bring him down and committed his life to find his moms real killer. He didn't care how long it took or how much it was going to take over his life, all he saw was a way to free his dad.
After he became The Flash, his unwavering optimism and willingness to never give up made him a true hero and Taurus. Add in the fact he's creative and resourceful, he really is a Taurean.
