Warning: includes a preview for The Flash #775!
In The Flash #775, Wally West will be facing off against an army of super-villains. After a long and winding journey throughout space and time, Wally finally returned home in The Flash #772. Settling back into normal life isn't going to be easy as Wally is reminded of all the necessary everyday things that he has to attend to. Notably, having enough money to support his family and not entirely relying on his wife Linda. Being a superhero doesn't pay the bills.
The Flash is known for having one of the most iconic rogues galleries in all of DC Comics. Every iteration of the Flash has their own unique set of rogues, although many of these villains crossover since they are mainly situated in Central City. Among the Flash's rogues, one of the most notable characters is Heatwave, who just returned. Wally will be dealing with Heatwave over the next few issues. But does the supposedly reformed villain have some sort of link to the other returning villains that will appear in The Flash #775? It's possible, but it seems they have been drawn out for another glowing reason.
DC Comics has released the solicitation and cover art for The Flash #775 by Jeremy Adams and Fernando Pasarin. The solicitation teases that the mysterious cosmic glaive has finally arrived and crash-landed on Earth. The deep-space artifact was briefly shown, but with no explanation. Now, it seems that readers will finally get some answers about the mysterious dagger. The Flash will face an army of super-villains, who have all been drawn to the glaive. Apparently, the glaive from outer space has ill effects which is seemingly the reason for all of Flash's villains hunting it.

- Hunt for the glaive!
- When a mysterious glaive crash-lands in the middle of Central City, the Flash must race against time to stop its ill effects, all while keeping an army of super-villains from obtaining this unknown and sinister cosmic prize.
The cover art shows Wally being overtaken by his many villains. Gorilla Grodd is among the rogues who will be returning. Alongside Rainbow Raider whose outfit can be easily identified on the cover art. However, there are a lot of other mysterious, but familiar, villains on the cover which are hard to identify. Eagle-eyed fans might be able to make out a couple more. Nevertheless, all of these villains will be chasing after the cosmic dagger which is referred to as a "sinister cosmic prize." There is far more going on than what readers have been told, which makes this new mystery ever so intriguing.
Discovering what the mystery glaive is will be Wally's first big task as the official Flash of Central City. He will be multi-tasking as he tries to understand what the glaive is while trying to halt the incoming army of super-villains who are desperate to get their hands on the cosmic artifact. It seems that the new Flash could use some help. With Wally West's new job working alongside Mr. Terrific, it's likely that could assist him in his latest endeavor to keep Central City safe. The Flash #775 will be available on October 19 in comic book stores and on digital platforms.
