A photo from the set of The Flash movie reveals a first look at a young Barry Allen and his bedroom. Ezra Miller's Barry Allen made his DCEU debut in 2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, although it was a brief cameo. Miller's Scarlet Speedster was later featured more prominently in the 2017 team-up Justice League and the subsequent Snyder cut of that film, the latter of which introduced Barry's love interest Iris West (Kiersey Clemons) who is reprising her role in The Flash movie.
After being stuck in development hell at DC for years, a solo outing for The Flash finally entered production earlier this year from director Andy Muschietti, known for the It movies, and screenwriter Christina Hodson, who also penned DC's Birds and Prey and the upcoming Batgirl movie. The start of filming was delayed due to COVID-19 and it hasn't exactly been smooth sailing since production began due to two accidents involving the Batcycle. Thankfully, no one was seriously injured in either incident. Since then, production has been humming along rather smoothly.
Now, yet another photo is revealing a look at the set of The Flash movie. This one comes by way of actor Ian Loh's Instagram account, who will reportedly be playing a young Barry Allen in the movie. The photo shows Loh and director Andy Muschietti in what appears to be Barry's bedroom as a young boy. Loh posted the photo to wish the director a happy birthday, as it was captioned, "Happy Birthday Andy ilysm!" Check out the set photo below:

This photo is just the latest evidence to support the fact the film will adapt the famous Flashpoint storyline from the comics, which centers on Barry going back in time to prevent his mother's death, but also sees the hero flashing through other universes, and possibly meeting a version of The Flash from an alternate reality as past set photos suggest. The photo above is a strong indication the film will visit Barry's childhood. The set design here is something to be admired, as it looks believable for a character who grew up during the late 1990s/early 2000s, replete with old movie posters and what appears to be Bat symbols on his bookshelf.
The set photo could also serve as a reminder that this will be The Flash's movie first and foremost, despite all the fanfare centered around Ben Affleck reprising his role as Batman (along with Michael Keaton) and Sasha Calle's introduction as Supergirl. Be on the lookout for more reveals related to The Flash movie at this year's DC FanDome, which would be a prime time to tease the DCEU film releasing November 2022.
