Don’t send flowers — send money!
A florist whose business is hurting due to the pandemic is begging her high-end restaurant clients to pay up.
L’Atelier Rouge’s Caroline Bailly told Page Six that it’s been “a nightmare on every level,” with restaurants whom she used to do weekly deliveries for owing her thousands.
Bailly claims Altamarea Group owes her $20,000, Bagatelle owes $10,000 and Sant Ambroeus Hospitality Group owes $15,000. “None of them have been willing to honor any payment plan, which is to me the worst,” an exasperated Bailly said.
“I don’t want to focus my energy on becoming a bill collector because that is not who I am.”
Lawyers for the Sultzer Law Group are helping her out pro bono. A rep for Bagatelle said, “Our industry has faced such an immense hit. We are partners in solidarity with our collective peers throughout New York . . . It has been at our highest priority level, second to caring for our displaced employees worldwide, to settle all outstanding accounts.”
Altamarea and Sant Ambroeus didn’t get back to us.
