Riverdale and Arrowverse shows like The Flash and Supergirl could be restarting very soon, as Canada takes steps forward to resume entertainment production.
British Columbia's CreativeBC arm has published guidelines that shows and movies must follow if they are to recommence filming in Vancouver, where those CW series are shot.
The guidelines read: "Employers are required to develop a COVID-19 Safety Plan that outlines the policies, guidelines, and procedures they have put in place to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission.

"This plan follows the six steps outlined on COVID-19 and returning to safe operation. Employers must involve frontline workers, joint health and safety committees, and supervisors in identifying protocols for their workplace.
"You do not need a formal plan in place to begin operation but are expected to develop it while protecting the safety of your workers."
Beyond that, the border to Canada is closed until the end of June, and anyone coming into Vancouver must quarantine for 14 days, so filming won't restart on The CW favourites for at least a few weeks at the moment.

Last week, Vanessa Morgan actress Toni Topaz – the only Black series regular – revealed that she was the least paid regular on the show. In response, showrunner Roberto Aguirre Sacasa has apologised and said the show must "do better".
Riverdale season 4 airs on Wednesdays at 9/8c on The CW in the US. In the UK, you can stream via Netflix every Thursday.
The Arrowverse shows air on the same US network, with most of them airing on Sky One and NOW TV in the UK.
