While Barry Allen will race back to the Arrowverse to finish out the crossover event "Crisis on Infinite Earths," The Flash won't return until February.
To help fans remember the first half of Season 6, The CW has released a 30-second trailer recapping the events leading up to "Crisis," including the arrival of the monstrous new villain Bloodwork.
Much of the first half of the season saw Barry and Team Flash come to terms with Barry's ominous fate, as Barry prepared his friends and family for a world without him. Along the way, Cisco Ramon, Caitlin Snow and Ralph Dibney each stepped up to embrace their own superhero roles.
The series has remained a strong hit with audiences and it's currently the highest-rated scripted series on The CW for the 2019-2020 television season. With the Arrowverse maintaining its popularity, the network has renewed its entire scripted programming slate for the shared television universe, including The Flash for a seventh season.
Airing Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on The CW, The Flash stars Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, Carlos Valdes, Danielle Panabaker, Tom Cavanagh, Jesse L. Martin, Danielle Nicolet and Hartley Sawyer. The series returns Tuesday, Feb. 4.
