The Flash season 8 premieres Tuesday, Nov. 16 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW ahead of Riverdale season 6‘s debut. Both shows will be launching five episode events that’ll turn the network’s Tuesday nights into a two-hour block of fantastically over-the-top and wondrous television.
“Armageddon,” this year’s Arrowverse crossover, will take place entirely on The Flash as a new Big Bad makes his land on Earth. Despero’s arrival not only spells trouble for Team Flash but also potential ruin as humanity is once again balancing on the knife’s edge of extinction.
It’ll be up to Team Flash, Batwoman, Black Lightning, Mia Smoak’s Green Arrow, Ryan Choi, The Atom, and Sentinel to weather the planet through Despero’s chaos. Reverse Flash and Damien Darhk will be along for the ride in some capacity over the crossover but whether the two villains will be of help is unknown.

The Flash season 8 Netflix release date
New episodes of season 8 will be available to stream next day for non-US Netflix subscribers. Next day viewing of the new season will be available to US fans through The CW app.
After the “Armageddon” crossover finishes, The Flash season 8 will go on hiatus until Tuesday, March 9 at 8 p.m. ET. Netflix US subscribers won’t be able to stream the new season on the platform until eight days after its finale airs on The CW.
