The Arrowverse has officially welcomed back Mia Smoak, and Katherine McNamara is pretty thrilled to be reprising her role for The Flash's Armageddon event.
Following the premiere of The Flash Season 8 last week, Katherine – who took over the Green Arrow mantel – has admitted that stepping back into her suit felt like "a dream come true".
Katherine will appear in the five-part Armageddon crossover along with Javicia Leslie's Batwoman, Brandon Routh's The Atom, Cress Williams' Black Lightning, Chyler Leigh's Sentinel, and Osric Chau's Ryan Choi.

Chatting to Collider about the moment she was asked back to the Arrowverse, Katherine revealed that she jumped at the chance to reprise her character.
"They wondered if I was interested in coming back to play Mia for an episode of The Flash. I said, 'Absolutely! I will be there. You let me know. I'm yours.'"
Sharing her connection to Mia, the Arrow favourite called the character "special", noting: "I learned so much from and had such an incredible experience on Arrow," she said.
"They did so much for me and took such good care of her."
After the planned Arrow spin-off Green Arrow and the Canaries was nixed, Katherine admitted that she thought she'd never "get to play" Mia again.

"Now that I do, it's such a dream come true. Grant [Gustin] and everybody over there, and the whole crew on The Flash, was just amazing and welcomed me with open arms," she added. "I'm just so grateful."
Ahead of Mia's official Flash debut, Katherine recalled the moment she put on Green Arrow's suit for the first time again: "I welled up a little bit because it felt like home.
"It felt like putting on an old comfy pair of speakers. You just go, 'Oh, right, this feels right. This feels like where I belong.' It was really a dream come true."
The Flash airs on The CW in the US, while Sky Showcase and NOW release episodes in the UK.
