Andy Muschietti has shared a first look at Michael Keaton’s Bat Symbol from the set of his upcoming The Flash movie.
Muschietti is deep into production on The Flash, but up until now no photos have been shared of the costumes. All of that changed on Friday when the director took to his Instagram account and shared what looks to be the Bat Symbol from the chest of Keaton’s costume with some blood splattered on it.
The symbol look to be similar to the one he wore in Batman Returns as opposed to the first Batman film. It also appears he is still wearing the armor chest plate design we saw in 1992.
With filming on The Flash rumored to be moving to Glasgow and Edinburgh in late June, we’re sure set photos are going to begin revealing costumes. On Thursday, set photos revealed the first looks at the new suit for Shazam: Fury of the Gods, so this feels like Muschietti is giving us a first taste before the big reveal. Hopefully we’ll see the full suit via an official photo instead of a long-distance set photo.
With Black Adam, Shazam: Fury of the Gods, and The Flash all in production right now, expect a lot of costume reveals in the coming months.
The Flash is set to hit theaters on Nov. 4, 2022.
