The Flash Season 7 Trailer Is All About Barry's Big Heart - Screen Rant

The Flash season 7 is underway with a new trailer highlighting the big heart Barry Allen has. This week, The Flash returned after 10 months to continue the Eva McCulloch storyline. A few notable things happened in "All's Well That Ends Wells," one of them being Barry getting a new suit.

Many superheros have gone through development and tragedy, and The Flash's Barry Allen is no exception. His mother died when he was young, and he saw his father taken from him as well. Members of his team have died. Iris remains trapped in the Mirrorverse. Despite all that, Barry remains a dedicated hero. He constantly puts his life on the line, and inspires the people around him. In season 7, Barry emerges from Cryogenic-sleep with one mission: stopping Eva and rescuing Iris. Sadly, his depleting speed was a problem, resulting in a big blow to the team. However, The Flash doesn't dwell in sadness for long here, but rather uses tragedy to springboard hope. By the end of the premiere episode, team Flash is ready to use their skills for good once again.

The CW has released a new trailer for The Flash season 7. There is new footage to enjoy, including the return of a villain who hasn't been seen in quite awhile. Check out the trailer below.

It looks like Abra Kadabra is returning. The classic comic book foe appeared back in season 3, causing trouble for the team before being caught. The final scene with Abra Kadabra was Gypsy taking him to Earth-19 to be executed. It will be interesting seeing what his role will be in season 7, and if Crisis on Infinite Earths altered the timeline here. The trailer puts a much bigger emphasis on showing how inspiring Barry is, with Cecile saying "Sometimes when I'm scared, I ask what would the Flash do." This certainly lines up with showrunner Eric Wallace saying Barry will do more leading coming up.

Like every season to date, Barry looks to be challenged on a physical and personal level coming up. Right now, he's dealing with getting his wife out of the Mirrorverse after being absent from her. That's not the only issue coming up for the scarlet hero. Godspeed is returning at some point this season, and this time he will be the real deal. Who knows what else will strike against Barry? No matter what, he should emerge a stronger hero. After quite awhile, it's certainly good to have The Flash back on the air.
