Mowka's goal came after the Red Flash tied it at 3-3 with three seconds left in regulation.
The Dukes, who were playing their third game in six days, got a pair of goals from Hopfer (15' & 65') and another from Nate Dragisich (74') in posting their highest goal total since a 4-0 win over St. Bonaventure on Oct. 5, 2019.
Tom Tzabari, Ryan Goodhew, Logan Muck, Mowka, Hopfer and keeper Domenic Nascimben all registered assists for the Dukes.
Nascimben initiated the game's final play with a long goal kick to Hopfer on the right side. Hopfer carried the ball and flipped it to Mowka at the near post. Mowka guided it by Saint Francis keeper Jonas Dieseler for the game-winner.
It marks the first time since 2015 that the Dukes have scored three or more goals in back-to-back games (DU defeated Robert Morris, 3-2, in 2OT on Sunday).
The Dukes head to Washington, D.C. to face Howard (0-0-2) on Sunday, Sept. 5 at 1:00 p.m. (no live stream). The Howard game is the first of back-to-back road games for DU, which will play at #21 Kentucky on Sept. 12.

DUQUESNE COACH CHASE BROOKS
"The reason we pushed in preseason was for moments like this. We've worked so hard and sacrificed so much over the past two or three weeks that it makes nights like tonight what they can be. The guys all believe we can win every time we step on the field and we showed that tonight. We have the ability to score goals, we just have to clean up a few things on the other side, but that's going to come as we get more and more experienced."
