The Flash's seventh season isn't done with its box of tricks, with one of its stars promising an "epic" comeback from a major former character.
As the Arrowverse series gears up for its season seven finale, Jordan Fisher – who was recently introduced as Barry Allen and Iris West-Allen's son Bart – has teased the return of original cast member Carlos Valdes.
Valdes' final scenes as Cisco Ramon/Vibe aired in last month's episode 'Good-Bye Vibrations', when he left the Central City team to take a job in Star City with ARGUS, but the Team Flash member will be back for the show's two-part finale.

Opening up about his time filming scenes with Valdes to TVLine, Jordan revealed that there'll be an "epic" twist when it comes to Cisco. "Carlos is one of the most fun people that I have worked with," he said of his co-star.
"We're very similar in a lot of ways, I think that we just got each other pretty instantly, so hopefully that dynamic comes across. As for the actual way he returns… it is epic. And he is epic. That moment is a huge moment."

Carlos Valdes' exit was confirmed earlier this year, with showrunner Eric Wallace bidding farewell to both Carlos and Cavanagh in a statement.
"Tom and Carlos have been an integral part of our show for seven seasons, and will be greatly missed," Wallace said. "Both are incredible talents who created beloved characters that fans and audiences around the world have come to love. Which is why we are happily keeping the door open for return appearances."
The Flash airs on The CW in the US. Sky One and NOW air the show in the UK.
