Grammys 2019: Katy Perry and Cardi B prep for awards show - Daily Mail

Katy Perry undergoes cupping facial while Alicia Keys prays as the stars document Grammys prep

It's the biggest night in music and the stars are ensuring not a hair is out of place as they head to the Grammys this year.

Katy Perry was among one of the many celebrities showing off their glam prep on social media, revealing she was nourishing her skin with a cupping facial in order to look her youthful best.

'Take me back to 2008!' the songstress, 34, playfully demanded her aesthetician Thuyen Nguyen.

But Thuyen promised he could do better.

'2007!' he replied with a cheery tone.

'Fine! 2007! Just make it look like it was my first Grammys, not my 75th,' Katy remarked as she relaxed during her awards show pampering session.

The video hilariously included a silly emoji of an elderly woman drinking a beer while dancing with a tambourine in hand.

Thuyen expertly ran the applicator over every part of her face, giving the songstress a radiant glow.

It really was a race against the clock for Katy, who also revealed her dress for her duet with Dolly Parton was still undergoing last-minute touches.

Katy hasn't been nominated for a Grammy this year, but she has previously been nominated for 13 awards.

Chill: This year's Grammy host Alicia Keys also took a similar approach, starting off the day bright and early with a moment of prayer

Cardi B is up for a whooping five Grammys this year, including Album Of The Year.

She shared a video of her sister Hennessy receiving a manicure as she sat makeup-free in a black crop top.

Elsewhere Grammy nominated Bebe Rexha prepped for a night in the lights while listening to some music.

A hair stylist carefully combed through her short blonde hair as she showed off her flashy pink manicure.

She also showed off her hearty pre-Grammy meal, joking her attempts at eating healthfully before the red carpet were a no-go.

'This dressing room is centered,' she said.
