The Duchess of Cambridge took the red carpet by storm last night as she joined her husband for a starry evening at the BAFTAs.
And it seems Kate may have looked to her sister-in-law for style cues, with her Alexander McQueen ensemble drawing striking similarities to one of Meghan's most iconic looks.
Kate's white toga-style gown featured a fitted bodice, cinched waist and flowing floor-length skirt, was much like the Theia Couture dress the Duchess of Sussex wore in October to meet the King of Tonga.
Described as a 'cap sleeve beaded silk satin column gown', Meghan's couture number is available to buy from Saks Fifth Avenue for £814.44, unlike Kate's bespoke McQueen ensemble.

It emerged last year that Theia designer Don O'Neill knew Meghan was pregnant before the official announcement, after Meghan's personal stylist requested the gown be remade 'with extra seam allowance'.
He told FEMAIL: 'We knew immediately why this extra allowance was required, but Mum's the word.'
The Duke and Duchess announced the pregnancy on their arrival in Sydney on 15 October, some two weeks after the alteration was requested.
It's not the first time Kate has drawn inspiration from rule-breaker Meghan; fashion watchers have noticed her adopting trousers and brighter colours - and even ditching her trusty nude tights - since the Duchess of Sussex burst onto the royal scene.
Mellow yellow: Meghan made headlines when she wore this canary-hued Brandon Maxwell dress in London in July 2018 (left), and just ten days later, Kate followed suit when she wore this vibrant Roksanda number at Wimbledon (right)
Straight and narrow: In one of her first official royal engagements, Meghan wore a pair of fashion-forward flares on a trip to Edinburgh in February (left) and in December, her sister-in-law wore flared trousers for the first time ever during a trip to Cyprus with William (right)
Cold shoulder: A bardot neckline devotee, Meghan wore this grey check number during a visit to Cardiff in January (left), and later this year the Duchess of Cambridge opted for an Erdem dress in London which appeared to take inspiration from the collarless blouse (right)
Sporty: After Meghan brought a touch of glamour to a sports demonstration in Loughborough in September 2018 (left), Kate ditched her usual blue jeans for black skinnies teamed with a polo neck for a turn on the tennis court in Essex in October of that year (right)
No tights! Meghan has never been afraid to show a bit of skin (left, during her engagement photo shoot in London in November 2017), and subsequently Kate has finally ditched the tights on a number of occasions (right, on London's Southbank in October)
Seeing double! Kate's Catherine Walker dress, which she wore at Sandringham on Christmas Day lat year (right) bore a striking resemblance to the collared maroon dress and matching coat worn by Meghan during a visit to the Hubb Community Kitchen in London last year (left)
Mane attraction: Meghan is known for pulling off a flawless ponytail, such as during her Australia tour in October (left), and in November Kate broke with convention by sporting a similar style during a visit to UCL in London (right)
Green and serene! Meghan's forest green ensemble, which she wore during a visit to Brighton in October 2018, may have been the inspiration behind the polka dot number Kate wore to the Evelina Children's Hospital in London in December that year (right)
Snubbing tweed dresses, pearls and sensible nude tights for vibrant hues, sleeveless dresses and sharply tailored trousers, the Duchess of Sussex has emerged as something of a royal rule breaker - and it seems her sister-in-law is taking note.
Once known for playing it safe, Kate has been experimenting with bright colours and fashion-forward silhouettes over the past year, seemingly inspired by Prince Harry's wife.
From banana yellow to baggy flares, it appears Meghan's most iconic outfits have inspired a major shift in the Duchess of Cambridge's royal wardrobe.
